Day 2 of Our Trip

Brother Suzuki, their son Mamoru, and Sister Suzuki from Kawachinagano

The entrance to Yasaka Shrine and Murayama Park

Brother Suzuki was in the Stake Presidency in the Sakai Stake, Sister Suzuki was in the YW's, and Mamoru was a recently returned missionary who helped at English class every week. This family was so dedicated to the gospel and helped with the work in as many ways as they possibly could.

Kyoto's famous Kiyomizudera, the temple of pure water

Drinking from the pure water fountain

Drinking some ginger tea at Kiyomizudera

Cold soba noodles for lunch with the Suzuki's

We tried to visit Fushimi Inari on the same day, but we got caught in torrential downpour and decided to reschedule for the next day.
